It will be your first visit to CZ. What is your idea of the Czech Republic?

don't really have much of an idea yet to be honest, but only heard good things about the crowd so I'm really excited about playing there!

Let's go back to the beginning of your DJ career. How you chose the name Avicii, and why did you not leave your personal name?

I was looking around for a name for my myspace and I always liked avici (the lowest level of buddhist hell) and me and my manager decided to add another I to the name to get away from my older productions that Didnt really fit my new sound (used to be called avici with only one I)

At Pleasure Island festival will be play the Main Stage alongside Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Tocadisco, Jerome Isma Ae, but for many is Avicii biggest star of the festival. Do you have something special music? I think some new track, or remix, just surprise?

I will definitely try out some new stuff I just finished last week for the first time at pleasure island! Will have a couple of surprises aswell ;)

Now you became the face of Pioneer, tell us something about the new Pioneer series CDJ-350 & DJM-350 and how you enjoy shooting?

oh I had a blast! Was cool to be able to shoot it in their studio in Ibiza while I was there and I felt honored that they asked me to do the shoot! The 350 setup is a great setup for people just starting out or smaller bars or clubs! I have it to play with around at home. It's got a lot of fun features, but I always play on the 1000 or 2000 when I gig.

As one of the top producers of house music at the last time, you for a long time occupied Beatport NO. 1 with tracks My Felling For You and before Bromance. How did you it perceive, and could you say how many was the sale track My Felling For You & Bromance?

Well it felt great finally getting a number 1, and better yet two of them, after having some other tracks up and about before without gettin to Jo 1. I'm just very humbled by the support of my fans and the great promotion of the tracks by my manager and label

What do you think about illegally downloading music?

I think that there's no use havin an opinion about because there's no way to stop it, I think labels and artist just have to find a way to work alongside it instead of against it and perhaps find some way to tIe advantage of it instead

In an interview for a one house blog, you mentioned that you wanted to play at Sensation White, and also work in the studio with Seb. Ingrosso. Both is already a reality now! What are your other that you want to achieve now?

Yeah, my manager has fulfilled a lot of my dreams. hehe I guess my biggest goal would have to be my own weekly night in Ibiza [hope he reads this :) ].

Not a long ago you have been in the studio with Tiesto & Sebastian Ingrosso can us tell for what you've worked and how was worked in studio with them?

We started a track but we havnt had time to finish it yet with everyones busy tour schedule during the summer ! It's coming soon.

In the summer you play at some performances in Pacha Ibiza with Swedish House Mafia and Tiesto in Privilege. What other major concerts waiting for you?

Electric Zoo, Mysteryland, Las Vegas, etc. A LOT of big gigs!

For your track remixing prefer use dance (house) music or pop music?

I mean there's plusses to working with both but I think house music is much closer to my heart so def enjoy that more 

Avicii artist album, we can expect shortly? Or does not plan to work on the album?

Not yet! We are currently working in releasing singles but def some time not too far way in the future there will be an "album"

Named title best track of your production. Which track or remix would be that?

Hmm would have to say bromance. Just very happy on how it turned out and got recieved

Favorite food?

Hmmm a good steak beats everything!

ice cold jagermeister

Your Life Motto?
Hmmm don't really have one haha, would have to be to work hard and keep working until you feel satisfied with where ur at and who you are
